Terms & Conditions


On paying a deposit to Macarthur Shuttles & Tours the “hirer” accepts and agrees to the terms and conditions below.


Cancellations: Macarthur Shuttles & Tours reserves the right to charge up to 100% of the total booking fee for any cancellations made within 24 hours of the booking, and up to 50% for any cancellations made with more than 24 hours’ notice.

 

Payments: All bookings must be paid in full before date of travel unless arrangements have been made with Macarthur Shuttles & Tours to pay in cash on the day of booking, In the event payment is to be made on the day it MUST be paid prior to departure.

 

Credit Cards: A fee of 3% will be added for all credit card transaction, we do not currently accept AMEX or DINERS Cards

 

Waiting Time: Macarthur Shuttles & Tours reserves the right to charge up to $40 per passenger, per half hour after the nominated booking time.

 

Travel Time: You need to arrive at the Airport at least 1 hour prior to your departure time for domestic flights and 3 hours for International flights. PLEASE NOTE: Delays may occur due to traffic or weather conditions. Macarthur Shuttles & Tours will not be liable for any loss, cost or delay incurred due to circumstances beyond our control.

 

No Show: Should the “booker” fail to cancel their booking, or fail to show up at the designated pickup point, Macarthur Shuttles & Tours reserves the right to charge the full booking fee.

 

Child restraints: Please advise at the time of booking if you need a child seat.

 

Sydney Airport: Pick-ups from Sydney Airport may be subject to parking charges currently $5.00 per 30 minutes and may also incur waiting charges (see above) in excess of the original quoted fee.

 

Loss: Macarthur Shuttles & Tours will not be liable for any loss or damage howsoever arising, to any, and all goods, baggage and personal items conveyed by our service.

 

Lost Property: Property left in a vehicle will be kept for a maximum of 3 months. Should the owner request their property to be forwarded on, any direct expense will be charged to the owner of the property, plus a minimum of $20.00 packing & handling fee.

 

Damage:  Any damage caused by persons to any Macarthur Shuttles & Tours vehicle shall be liable to the cost of repairs.

 

Smoking/Food/Beverages: Smoking and the consumption of Alcohol, Dairy Products, Hot Drinks or Takeaway Meals  (except Water) are not permitted by law in any Macarthur Shuttles & Tours vehicle.

 

Behaviour: Macarthur Shuttles & Tours is not a common carrier and can therefore refuse to carry a person whose behaviour is detrimental to the enjoyment, comfort or safety of the group, other travellers, other passengers and the driver. By travelling with Macarthur Shuttles & Tours, you agree to accept the authority of the driver. Any threats to safety, being physical or verbal, or any inappropriate behaviour as deemed by the driver may result in the removal from the trip. If a driver requires a passenger to leave the vehicle no refund will be given and that passenger will be responsible for their own travel costs and arrangements from that point.

 

Sickness: Macarthur Shuttles & Tours reserves the right to charge a cleaning and/or sanitation fee of up to $500 for anyone who becomes ill inside a vehicle as a result of alcohol or food consumption.
